Thomas Reed Seal II, a resident of Woodville, Mississippi, passed away Saturday July 29, 2023 at the age of 52. He was a member of Stateline Missionary Baptist Church.
Tom came into this world in Franklinton, Louisiana on November 10, 1970 as the cherished child of Thomas Seal and Judy Dunshee.
Tom was preceded in death by his brother (Matthew Dunshee), father (Thomas R Seal), maternal grandparents (Clarence and Atha Lee Thomas), paternal grandparents (Hermon and Doris Seal), grandfather (George Parkman), uncle (Tony Thomas), as well as many other family members that are now rejoicing with him in heaven.
He leaves behind one child (Madison Hope Seal), his mother (Judy Dunshee), and his only sister (Myranda Stafford). Tom also had many other family members left behind that he cherished. He was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Tom brought light and laughter to the lives of all who knew him.
Growing up with a mischievous twinkle in his eye, he had a knack for finding joy in the simplest things. From an early age, Tom displayed an infectious humor that could turn any frown upside down. Whether it was a clever one-liner or a well-timed prank, he had a remarkable ability to bring laughter and cheer into any room. Tom was the type of person who could make you forget your troubles and embrace the brighter side of life. Despite his penchant for mischief, Tom was a responsible and loving father in the time he had. He was immensely proud of his daughter, Madison Hope Seal, who he cherished with all his heart. Their bond was unbreakable, and the memories they created together will continue to bring comfort and warmth to those left behind.Tom's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his lighthearted spirit will forever be remembered. The world was a brighter and happier place with Thomas Seal II in it, and his legacy of laughter will continue to live on.
As we bid farewell to our beloved friend, let us honor his memory by remembering to find joy in the little things, spreading laughter wherever we go, and embracing the mischievous side of life. Tom would want nothing more than to see us all smile, even in times of sorrow.
Rest in peace, Tom. We will forever carry you in our hearts.
Visitation will be at Stateline Missionary Baptist Church (31384 Hwy. 62, Franklinton, LA) on Saturday August 5th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the church at 2:00 pm Saturday with Bro. Trey Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Crain Cemetery.
