Thomas E. Shea, 87, of Anthony House, 51 Middle Rd., Portsmouth, R.I., formerly of Walter St., Fall River, died Saturday, April 12, 2003 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River.

He was the husband of the late Eva A. (St.Amand) Shea.

Born in Fall River, August 20, 1915, the son of the late John T. and Annie (Hadfield) Shea, he lived in Fall River most of his life and in Portsmouth for several years.

A member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, he was a warehouseman at the Newport Naval Base for 32 years, retiring in 1973.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Rosemary A. Buckley and her husband Richard of Portsmouth and Marlene M. Bouffard and her husband Bertrand of Fall River;

2 sons, Richard J. Shea and his wife Jan of Washington, D.C. and Thomas M. Shea and his wife Jody of Wilbraham, MA;

8 grandchildren, Timothy and Michael Buckley, Suzanne Bouffard and Erin, Kathryn, Elizabeth, Kristin and Erich Shea.

He was the brother of the late Rita Fortin and John and Mary Shea.

His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in the Our Lady of the Angels Chapel of Good Shepherd Parish, Dwelly St., Fall River at 10:00.

Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.

Visitation, Monday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
