Obituary of Thomas A. Shelton
Thomas Andrew Shelton, age 59, left this world to enter eternal life peacefully after a long battle with cancer.
Tom was a devoted employee as a supervisor for the City of Vineland Road Department for 33 years until his recent retirement. He loved his job and helping others. His kid-like sense of humor always had us laughing. He was a great fan of the Philadelphia Flyers, LA Rams and hairband heavy metal music. He loved crabbing in his kayak and traveling to Texas. He loved Halloween, so he could dress up and create a haunted house to give the treat or treaters a scare. He was an avid lottery player and always hoped to one day hit the big one.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Ann Shelton; son, Thomas Andrew Shelton; mother, Lillian Fornari; stepfather, Antonio Fornari; sister, Lisa Gvozdenovich (Vince Gvozdenovich), grandchildren, Sophia Rose and Lilly-Ann Marie. He was predeceased by his father, Wayne R. Shelton.
Tom was born and raised in Vineland, where he had many friends and coworkers that meant a lot to him. The world will be a little less bright without him.
Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 5:00pm until 6:30pm, followed by a memorial service at 6:30pm, at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland.
