Thomas Slover, Jr. Obituary
Mr. Thomas Alva Slover, Jr. age 66 of LaFollette passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. He was a proud US Army Veteran having received a Purple Heart serving as a Helicopter Pilot, and was an accomplished artist and musician. He is preceded in death by father, Thomas Alva Slover, Sr., and uncle, Jack Slover.
He is survived by mother, Ellen Louise (Bolton) Slover; son, Stephen Thomas Slover; daughter, Molly Daniels (David); grandchildren, Harley and Tommy Daniels; brother, Keith Slover (Debbie); sister, Dawna Cecil; nieces, Kortni, Toni, and Kylie; several other extended family members and friends.
A private family gathering will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025. In Mr. Slover’s spirit of giving, he made the selfless decision to be donated to the University of Tennessee Anthropology Department so that he may help others along their educational journey. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Thomas Alva Slover, Jr.
