Thomas Derik Strickland

Thomas Derik Strickland, age 56, of Ralph, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, November 19th at Hartselle Health Park ER. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel. Pastor John Alexander will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Melodie Ann Strickland; his second wife, Kathryn Grace Strickland; and grandson, Colton Ryder Bridges.
He is survived by his daughters, Connie Lee Strickland, of Northport, AL, (Bonus Daughters) Katelyn Brianne Hunt, of Passcatway, New Jersey, and Danielle Kristine Grimsley, of Ralph, Alabama; sons, Derik Nathaniel Strickland, of Fountain, Colorado, Thomas Dustin Strickland, of Lincoln, Kansas, Dawson Robert Strickland, of Ralph, Alabama, (Bonus Sons), Joshua Ryan Hernandez, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Elias Lorenzo Hernandez, Of Clay Center, Kansas; Parents, Marry Kathryn Strickland and Thomas Derik Strickland, of Fountain, Colorado; grandchildren, Avryanna Grace, Annie Noel, Emma Rose, Dabriel Ryder Strickland, of Fountain, Colorado, Aiden Parker Hernandez and Lucas Ryan Hernandez, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Addison Grace Latham, of Northport, Alabama, and Sebastian Penberthy and Sterling Penberthy of Passcatway, New Jersey.
Tom was a loving grandfather, friend, and most of all, a dad. He would always know the right advice to give. Most knew how good his food always was, he could throw anything together, and it would be amazing. He had a heart the size of Texas. He would help anyone if he was able to.
