, 2023, Thomas Jeffrey Strom (Tom Strom), loving Son, Brother, Uncle, Grandson, Nephew, and Cousin, passed away in Phoenix, AZ. Tom Strom was born on April 14, 1994 in Rochester, NY and baptized on July 3, 1994 in Geneseo, NY. Tom attended Notre Dame Preparatory School in Scottsdale, AZ and was trained in USMC Electro-Optical Repair at Fort Lee. Sergeant Tom served five years in the United States Marine Corps as a Specialist with three years as an Electro-Optical Repair Supervisor in Okinawa, Japan followed by an Honorable Discharge. Upon exiting the military, Tom became a Software Technician & Instructor for Transdev/Waymo working on Autonomous Vehicles.

Tom had a particular love of animals throughout his life, but especially for his cat, Snuggles. He loved snowboarding, hiking, fishing, swimming – anything outdoors. He was an avid reader and aspiring science fiction writer.

Tom was preceded in death by his Grandfather Richard E. Pierce and Grandmother Aileen Strom. He will be greatly missed by his Father Deacon Jeffrey T. Strom, Mother Laurie A. Strom, Sister Erika and Brother-in-Law Justin Hausmann, Nephew James Hausmann, Niece Kayla Hausmann (born April 4, 2023), Grandfather Thomas N. Strom, Grandmother Catherine Pierce, and heartbroken Aunts, Uncles and Cousins in Arizona, Ohio, Texas, New York and Japan.

Sergeant Tom will be laid to rest on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:00 am with full military honors at the Prescott National Cemetery, 500 AZ-89, Prescott, AZ 86301.
