Thomas “Tom” Noble Neill Sr., age 66, of Marion, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on August 16, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, Tom was the son of George Sr. and Mary (Murphy) Neill. He later married Christine Ann (Wisniewski) Neill, with whom he shared a devoted and loving partnership.

Though Tom was a homebody at heart, he never met a stranger. He was the kind of man who showed his love through action—always ready to lend a hand, whether it was fixing electrical issues, tuning up a car, or mowing a neighbor’s lawn. He had a deep appreciation for Elvis Presley and a lifelong love of action movies. A man of faith, Tom was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion.

Tom is survived by his children: Thomas Noble Neill Jr., Lisa Marie Cagle, Theresa Ann Neill, and Joseph Edward Neill; his grandchildren: Gracie Shell, MaKyla Neill, Marley Neill, Lyric Neill, Thomas Cagle Jr., Kaitlynn Cagle, Harley Cagle, Ashanti Neill, Shylynn Serna, Brandon Marks, Caden Marks, Faith Foster, Jacob Neill, and Jordyn Hudspeth; and his siblings: Maria Thomas, George (Roberta) Neill Jr., and Michael (Melissa) Neill. He is also fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Christine; his granddaughter, Angel Cagle; his niece, Taylor Neill; his nephew, Phillip McIntosh Jr; his sister, Catherine McIntosh; and his brother, William Neill.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Blue Funeral Home under the direction of Binkley-Ross. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Blue Funeral Home, 1704 North Court Street, Marion. A funeral service will follow at 5:00pm, with Father Francis Tambala officiating. Inurnment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, south of Chicago at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Binkley Ross Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses or to the SIH Cancer Institute. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
