Tom Trainer
Age 90, of Brooklyn Park, passed away on January 19, 2025. Preceded in death parents, Thomas Trainer and Ruth Kolar; stepmother, Gerda Trainer; brother, Doug Trainer. He will be missed by his wife of 69 years, Darlys; children, Tom M. (Paula) Trainer, Terri Trainer and Todd (Mila Samson) Trainer; grandchildren, Brenna, Ashley (Matt); great-grandchildren, Maddox, Teagan, Milan and Dev.
Tom grew up in Minneapolis, MN and spent his entire career in the trucking industry. The most important thing in his life was his family. He enjoyed many vacations and cruises. In retirement he wintered in Florida and Arizona, so he was able to enjoy golf year-round. He will be remembered for his positive attitude, sense of humor and love for family. He will be forever missed.
Private family services will be held this Spring.
