Jane Trainer, 78, of Mason City passed away January 12, 2026. A funeral will be held at St. James Lutheran Church at 10:30 a.m. on Monday January 19, 2026. A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at Major Erickson Funeral Home, Sunday, January 18.

Steve, Chris, family and friends, we send our warmest sympathy and prayers for God's love to bring you peace and comfort. Jane and I went to country school and then Glenville High School together. We also attended Deer Creek Valley Church together. She will be fondly remembered. God bless all who knew and loved her.
