Clarence C. "Bud "Trainer, 81, of Winchester, KS, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at his home.
Burial will be at Corpus Christi Cemetery, Mooney Creek next to his late wife. He requested that no services be held. The O'Trimble Funeral Home, Nortonville, KS is handling the arrangements. Condolences to the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com.
Bud retired from working at We-Mac in 2006, after 36 years as a welder. Bud enjoyed taking care of his animals on the farm, building and fixing things and racing. From fixing cars to providing for extended family Bud, lived to help those in need...
He is survived by his children, Gordan Trainer, Jennifer Page, Kelly Dyer, Samantha Cherrito; stepchildren, Steve Crossland, Lynn Graddick, Jay Crossland and Chuck Crossland; and his adopted children, (grandsons) Justin Trainer and Clarence Trainer. Bud was also survived by several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his late wife, Marcelene (Noll) Trainer; son, Daniel Trainer; stepson, Michael Crossland; great-grandchildren, Teddy Trainer and Heather Trainer; and his parents, Janice and Clarence Trainer.
