Thomas Lee Traylor (Tom) was a man who stood on pride, dignity and ambition. Tom lived his life dedicated to helping others always being there for loved ones and those in need. He was always a call away. Tom was known for his many words and could never be described as quiet. He always had an opinion and made it known. He was a husband, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend who will be missed cherished and remembered for his personality which had a great impact on many. His giving of advice about life's direction will remain in the hearts of us all.

Tom was born June 13, 1947, in Mt. Pleasant. Texas. He passed away on September 18, 2025, at home with loved ones. He was a devoted husband to his wife Pearlie Traylor.

Tom graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Mt. Pleasant, Texas in 1965 and enlisted in the United States Army. He served his country for three years. Tom joined the Boston Police Department as a police officer in 1974 serving his community faithfully until his retirement in 2010 as a Homicide Detective.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Matsey Traylor, Sr, and Willie Mae Traylor, his mother Gladys Traylor Guilliam, his father Billy Brown his sister, Janice Palmer and Joyce Ann Shaw, and brother Douglas Wayne Traylor. Sr.

He is survived by his wife Pearlie Traylor, his brother Dwight Traylor of Daingerfield, Texas and many nieces, nephews' family, and friends that loved him dearly.
