Kinder-Celebration of Life services honoring Thomas A. "Bomber" Unruh, 48, will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 4 o'clock p.m. at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Alfred Gibson will officiate. A private inurnment service in Thomas's memory will be held at a future date.
Thomas's family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Saturday morning, February 24, 2024, from 10 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All of Thomas's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.
Thomas was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Thomas loved to play all types of sports and enjoyed "living off of the land". He loved to work with his hands and was a "jack of all trades". Thomas will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish Thomas's memory include one son, Tyler Unruh; two daughters, Havanah Fanhert and husband Hank, and Grace Unruh; one brother, Shawn Unruh; two grandsons, Hayes and Hollis and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Darlene Unruh.
