Thomas Thazampalathil Varghese

Thomas Varghese (92), affectionately known as Kuttachan of the Thazhampallathil family, completed his earthly journey and entered his heavenly home on January 28th. Born in Kombadi, Tiruvalla, and the beloved son of the late Pastor Thazhampallathu Kuttiyachan, Thomas lived a life marked by faith, humility, and steadfast devotion.

For more than five decades, he made Minnesota his home, building a life rooted in family, fellowship, and service. He was preceded in death by his dear wife, Susamma Varghese of the Thekkedathu family, Pathanapuram, and by his daughter, Reenu Varghese.

Thomas leaves behind a legacy carried forward by his daughters, Meenu (wife of Jacob John) and Beenu (wife of Evg. Finney Thomas), and by his cherished grandchildren-Samuel, Esther, and Elizabeth-who brought him immense joy in his later years. After retiring, he spent his days surrounded by the love and laughter of his children and grandchildren, a blessing he treasured deeply.

Above all, Thomas was a faithful servant of God. His quiet strength, unwavering trust in the Lord, and lifelong commitment to ministry touched many lives. He served with humility until his final breath, leaving behind an example of devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

His life was a testimony of grace, perseverance, and love. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory remains a lasting light in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were blessed to walk alongside him.
