Thomas Walak Obituary
Thomas J Walak “Tom” of East Syracuse, NY born in Brooklyn, NY on May 4, 1951 passed away suddenly on May 17, 2025. Tom was an avid car enthusiast. Toms greatest passion was being a grandfather. Tom was a very humble man, devoted to always making sure his family and friends knew they were loved. Toms last years were spent watching his grandchildren grow. He will truly be missed by all leaving us with a valuable lesson; Time is not promised, anger is a waste of your time and its about progress not perfection.
Tom is predeceased by his parents Louis and Sophie Walak, brother Louis Walak Jr. and the love of his life Theresa Walak
Tom is survived by his sister Diane Birdsall, daughters Shannon (Sylvia) Walak and Meagan Walak, four grandchildren Isabella, Emmett, Maverick and Ryleigh.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 11am-2pm. Funeral Services will follow at 2pm. To leave a message of condolence for Thomas’s family, or to share a special memory of Thomas, please sign the guestbook below.
