Thomas Watson, 74, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 12, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Melinda Speed Watson. Thomas was born on July 10, 1951, in Covington, Virginia, and was the son of the late Vernon Watson and the late Maggie Taylor Watson.
A dedicated educator, Thomas made significant contributions to the lives of his students and the communities he served. His passion for teaching and his unwavering commitment to fostering learning left a lasting impact on many. Beyond his professional endeavors, he was known for his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor, which endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In addition to his cherished wife, Melinda, Thomas is survived by family and friends who will remember him fondly for his warmth and wisdom. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Arrangements for Thomas are being handled by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
