Thomas H. "Tom" Werstein

Thomas "Tom" H. Werstein, 67, of Watertown, passed away January 6, 2026.
Tom is survived by his wife, Ginger; stepdaughter, Casi Johnston of Tisch Mills; grandsons, Kail (Dana) McCormack of Neosho and Sgt. Bryan Schauer of Fort Bragg, N.C.; sister, Sue (Mark) Eggleton of Rock, MI; brother, Scott Dawson of Rogers City, MI; as well as other relatives and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Shirley Werstein; brothers, Dan and Joe Dawson; and stepdaughter, Cori Johnston.
Tom's life was defined by the things he loved: the spirit of a bowling game, the beauty of eagles, and the quiet of a campsite. He was a proud grandfather who took every opportunity to be with his grandchildren, especially during a cherished camping trip to Lake Superior with his grandsons. Tom was a kid at heart and was a favorite uncle to his nieces and nephews.
Ginger would like to specially thank her family, Marquardt Manor staff, Hospice, and friends who have supported her during this difficult time.

Per Tom's request, there will be no formal service. To honor his memory, his family invites you to enjoy a brat and a beer while keeping him in your thoughts.
