Thomas Cecil Williams, 72, of Woodstock, Georgia, left his earthly dwelling on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 10:00 p.m. Born in Bonne Terre, Missouri, on August 1, 1953 to Cecil Paul and Olive Jean Williams, Thom lived a charmed childhood that some might say never ended. After graduating from Normandy High School in Parma, Ohio in 1971, he was married to Brenda Lois Romines and began a career in the record business. In 1984 he became one of the Atlanta area’s premier wallpaper hangers for the remainder of his life. A loving father, fierce friend, and a “brother to everyone he met,” Thomas Cecil was one of the least judgmental, least critical, least pretentious people anyone had ever known. An avid music lover and collector, he never let adulthood keep him from having childlike fun. He loved to fish with his friends, laugh with his children, and spend every moment he could with his grandchildren. No matter where he was or what he was doing, he kept an infectious sense of humor that warmed the hearts of all around him. He never met a stranger and he liked everyone he met. His charm and sincerity will be missed dearly.
Thomas Cecil is survived by his three children, Jennifer Rhea Williams, Benjamin Howard and wife, Janie Williams, and Lindsey Renee Williams, as well as his five grandchildren, Dillon Thomas, Isaac James, Samuel Evan, Benjamin Ellis, and Olive Faith Williams; his sister, Jeannine Kovach, and husband, Bob; his nieces, Shelley Fleming, Robin and husband, Jay Canty, Holly Kovach, and Nicole Kovach. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Paul and Olive Jean (Vernon) Williams, as well as his sister, Sandra Sue Williams, and nephew, Robert Kovach.
