Thomas Winans Obituary
Thomas R. Winans, 65 of Minneapolis, died peacefully on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at his home.
Tom was born June 19, 1957. He grew up in Prairie du Sac, WI with his parents, Roger and Dorothy (Lovell) Winans and sister, Julie. He was a 1976 graduate of Sauk Prairie High School. In his younger years, Tom enjoyed music, especially vinyl records. He took many trips with his parents and loved airplanes. Tom was also an avid shopper and fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Bucks. He enjoyed a lot of fun times at the family cabin, “The Bush”, with family and good friends, Jack and Sara Eberhart.
He is survived by his sister, Julie Winans; niece and nephews, Jake Shovein, Anna Goodrum-Blamer (Jake Blamer) and Matt (Hannah) Goodrum; and great-niece, Amelia Goodrum.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Allen Goodrum and a beloved aunt, Loree Toll.
Private family services will be held. Hoff Celebration of Life Center – Goodview is assisting the family with arrangements. www.hofffuneral.com.
