Thomas J. Xander, 65, of Oil City, PA., passed away Thursday March 13, 2025 at home after a brief illness.
Born Dec. 16, 1959 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Roy E. and Geraldine A. Rogers Xander.
Tom known by "X" by many, was a 1977 graduate of Venango Christian High School.
He had worked as an estimator/bidder for I.A. Construction for many years.
Tom was a member of the Oil City Knights of Columbus and the Fourth Degree Assembly.
He enjoyed bowling, and bowled at Seneca Lanes for several years.
Tom bowled Monday nights in the Merchants League at the K of C and also bowled many years in the K of C League on Wednesday nights.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed golfing recently in the Wenango League.
X was a member of the PNA Club and also the auxiliary of the Oil City VFW.
A sports enthusiast, he enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Penguins and watching Notre Dame Football, as well as watching the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Tom also enjoyed going to casinos and trying his luck in Atlantic City and Las Vegas.
He was married on 2-22-22 to the former Lisa D. Weeter and she survives along with two children

He is also survived by two sisters
Royce Ann Xander of Oil City
and Debi Miller of West Hickory
And by two brothers
Kevin Xander of Oil City
Dennis Xander and his wife Diane of Oil City
As well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother in law Dave Miller.
Friends will be received from 5P.M-7P.M. Tuesday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.
Knights of Columbus will have a vigil service at 4:45 P.M. on Tuesday in funeral home.
Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at 7P.M. with Rev. Richard Allen Presiding.
Memorials may be made to the Knights of Columbus, 111 Petroleum St. Oil City, PA. 16301
