Thomas R. "Tom" Yaeger, 68 years old, was born in Manhattan, NY and passed away on January 30, 2024 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, NJ.
Tom joined the Air Force at Lakeland Air Force Base in Arizona and proudly served his country!
Tom began his career at Freehold Twp. Parks and Recreation and retired in 2019.
In retirement, Tom was able to spend time working on his beloved classic muscle cars.
He was the founder and President of the Old Glory Cruisers Car Club.
Tom was a very active member of the Veteran Community Alliance of Freehold. One of Tom's passions was the Freehold Township Day in which he ran a car show where he raised thousands of dollars for local Disabled Veterans over the 16 years that he was responsible for this event.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Helena Yaeger, and his 4 siblings Charles A., Richard, Michael, and Susie.

I remember back in 1979 Tommy, myself and some other friends spent camping for a few days in Lake George, New York. It is in the beautiful picturesque Adirondack region of mountains in upstate New York. We all had a wonderful time. I was only 19 at the time but we had an amazing time . Tommy was always a very kind and sweet person who had a passion for cars and rescue dogs. I met Tommy when I was sixteen years old in high school. We remained friends for the past 40 years. Rest in peace my friend with all the classic cars in the sky. My husband Tom and myself send our sincere, heartfelt condolences to his wife Helena, whom Tommy loved dearly. Also to his siblings, Richie, Mickey, Susie and Chuck. We are more sorry than we can express. Sending sincere prayers and healing to the entire Yaeger Family.
