Thomasine Cole Fountain (Teeny), 86, of Sevierville, TN, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Bessemer, AL to the late Charles and Velma (Nixon) Cole on May 19, 1939.
She spent the early part of her career in administration work for Barnes Motor Company until 1960 when she was hired at Brookley Air Force Base in Mobile, AL until moving to Warner Robins, GA in 1966. She continued her employment until 2005 at Robins Air Force Base as special operations- items manager.
Teeny was a devoted wife to her husband, William Therrell Fountain, with whom she shared 67 years.
She is survived by her children, Pamela (Larry) Mullis of Warner Robins, GA, Kelly (Robert) Torline of Rockmart, GA, Bradley (Rebecca) Fountain of Sevierville, TN; her nine grandchildren, Maclain, Jonathan, Justin, Cody, Jordan, Cole, Taylor, Garrett and Robert Braden; as well as 13 great grandchildren and her loving brother, Kenneth Cole.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Charles, Dorothy, Peggy, Glenda, Gloria Hope, Dennis and Gerald.
Teeny was known for her amazing baking and cooking. She was one of those ladies whose smile would light up any room.
She loved God, her family and friends, our country and of course the mountains of Tennessee.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Mike Gibbs. Afterward, Thomasine will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
