In Loving Memory of Tieng Kung
July 5, 1931 – May 25, 2025
With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Tieng Kung, who passed peacefully in hospice care at the age of 93.
Born in Cambodia on July 5, 1931, Tieng lived a life of extraordinary resilience, compassion, and quiet strength. She endured the unimaginable hardships of war and made countless sacrifices to protect and guide her children to safety and a better life. Her legacy is one of fierce love, devotion, and perseverance.
Tieng was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chea Mao, in 2013 — a reunion we now take comfort in knowing has finally come to pass.
She is survived by her four daughters, two sons, as well as many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were each touched by her boundless care and wisdom.
Her hands held generations, her heart carried the weight of survival and love, and her life was a gift to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
We are forever grateful for her guidance, her warmth, and her unwavering love. Though she will be deeply missed, she will live on through the family she built and the lives she shaped.
May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with the love of her life.
