Tilly Ingram Obituary
She was born July 22, 1946 in Goshen, Virginia, the daughter of the late Louie Wallace Ingram, Sr. and Gladys Marie Kennedy Ingram.
Tilly was formerly employed as a correctional officer for Augusta Correctional Center.
She enjoyed going to church, doing word search puzzles and yard work, and playing Bingo.
Tilly is survived by her daughter: Melissa "Missy" Ann Fridley and husband Ira; granddaughter: Candy Harless and husband Dale; brothers: Bill Ingram, Tom Ingram, Henry Ingram, Louis "Dick" Ingram, Jr.; sisters: Daisy Nicely, Hilda "Hun" Spillman, Penny Ingram, Patsy "Toodle" Gladfelter, Patty " Poo" Gladfelter; numerous nieces and nephews; Denise Camden who is like a daughter to her; many cats; and a great grand dog, Lucy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell "Jack" Wayne Ingram; son, Dennis Ingram; and grandson, Quentin Fridley.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Goshen Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Reese officiating. Interment will be in Craigsville Community Cemetery.
The family will receive friends the night before, Monday, March 3, 2025, from 6 – 7 p.m. at Craigsville Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Augusta County SPCA.
