Timothy Talmadge Craig, Jr., age 85, of Anderson, SC, died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.

Born June 12, 1940, in Cleveland County, NC, he was a son of the late Timothy Talmadge Craig and Flora Barber Craig. He was also preceded in death by a son, Timothy Talmadge Craig, III; two brothers, Charles Brittain Craig and Gerald Wayne Craig.

Tim was a graduate of Duke University and a veteran of the United States Army. He began his career as a terminal manager for Roadway Trucking and retired as the general manager of McDaniel & McDaniel Company of Century 21. He was a real estate broker and member of the Realtors Association. Tim enjoyed many things, some of which included reading, traveling, and golfing. He was formerly a high school football referee and was an avid Duke football and basketball fan. He also loved the beach and dancing the shag and was a member of the SOS (Society of Stranders). Tim lived on Lake Murray at one time and had fond memories of that time as he loved the lake. Most of all, Tim loved his family and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Karin "Kari" Craig; daughter-in-law, Eugenia "Jenny" Craig; granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth; great granddaughter, Murphy Elizabeth; brother, David Brian Craig; sister, Flora Jean Craig; former wife, Janet Craig; sisters-in-law, Irene Page Craig and Janice Barker Craig; a niece and a nephew.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
