Tim Cuttle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. - Shelby Township on Jan. 22, 2025.
CUTTLE, TIM J. a dedicated and proud United States Navy veteran, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025, at the age of 79. He served his country honorably during 1964-1968, stationed aboard the USS Vance (DER-387) and was recognized for his service with the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Following his military career, he devoted his life to a 40-year career in banking with his final role as President and CEO. He served as the Chairman of the Board of The Macomb County Chamber of Commerce in 1988 and 2007.

He dedicated his life to family, his career, and believed that much of his success he enjoyed in life was due to his beautiful wife and partner Doreen. He loved spending time with his daughter and grandchildren at a beach or swimming in a pool. He loved boating, grilling, hosting his nieces, nephews and friends in his swimming pool, traveling to Puerto Vallarta beaches with Doreen, tending to his flowers and landscaping and enjoying his feline friends.

Beloved husband of Doreen Procopio-Cuttle. Loving father of Kelly (Austin) Work & Shannon Cuttle. Proud Papa of Anelise Soderberg, Parker Soderberg & Lily Soderberg. Dear brother of John (Michele) Cuttle & the late Michael Cuttle and brother in law of Lori (Darrell) Dick, Guy (Kara) Procopio & Valerie (Paul) Leo. Dearest uncle of Stacey (John ) Lovchuk, the late Kim Cuttle, the late Michael Cuttle, Lisa (Cuttle) Barone, Darren (Melissa) Dick, Allison (Rene) Santana, Micaela (Michael) McKinney, Guy Procopio Jr., Gabriella Leo, Paul Leo, Julianna Leo & Isabella Procopio. Knowing Tim and his beautiful wife Doreen from the Marina in St. Clair Shores where he and Doreen spent many wonderful days out on the boat. Such a kind man, every time we seen him, we talked as though we were best of friends yet did not associate much beyond that. I am certain Tim will be dearly missed by his loving wife and family, as well as his brother John and wife Michelle. May Tim be greeted at the gates of Heaven by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and welcomed home to eternal rest, peaceful rest that was promised when Jesus, our Savior paid that very high, painfilled price on the Cross. Rest in eternal and everlasting peace dear friend, until we meet again, our love, Steven & Sheilalynne Bono

I don't have many memories of Uncle Tim, I've only got to visit with him a few times during my childhood at Uncle Johns home. I remember him as a very nice man and he loved being around his family and he was so nice to me. I am the oldest daughter of his late brother Michael Cuttle

Tim was the GREATEST GUY EVER.
Introduced he and wife Doreen on my boat. They fell in love, and married.
I was honored to know them both.
