Tim Hauter

Tim was born on April 11, 1948 in Dallas, Texas to parents Hugo and Gladys Hauter. Tim met the love of his life at the age of 6. They were inseparable from that time forward. Tim and Marilyn married on May 17, 1975. Tim was a pilot. His being a pilot led to Tim being a docent at Frontiers of Flight Museum for many years. He played the role of Wiley Post, the one-eyed pilot at the Frontiers of Flight Museum. Tim was also a professional photographer, Tim was a music minister and loved to sing God's beautiful music. Tim also volunteered for three decades with the American Heart Association. Tim also worked as a banker for 30 years.
These are only a few of the many talents of Tim.
Tim is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Marilyn, sister Denise Shanks (Charlie) and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Valley Ranch Baptist Church in Coppell, Texas. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, Family has requested donations be made to the American Heart Association and Frontiers of Flight Museum.
