Tim Hillis, 71, of Morrison, passed away Sunday, July 20 2025 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Born in Warren Co., he was the son of the late Louie M. Hillis and Fay Haley Hillis.
Tim is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Teresa Redmon Hillis of Morrison; his children, Amy Hillis Fults and her husband, Eddie of McMinnville and Nathan Hillis and his wife, Erin of Morrison; grandchildren, Haley Beth Custer and her husband, Duncan and Lilly Fults both of McMinnville; great grandson, Harrison Custer. Also surviving is his brother, Michael Steve Hillis and his wife, Sharon of Centertown and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Hillis. A member of the Bethel Hill Baptist church, he was a truck driver. Mr. Hillis was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all, taking care of his family and making lasting memories with them is what mattered the most.
His family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Woodbury Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 P.M. at Gardens of Memory, McMinnville, TN.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vanderbilt Cancer research or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
