I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Tim. I met Tim in 1983 at BI and he was my boss for many of those years. He always talked about his family and how happy and proud he was of them. The last time I saw him was in November in Tarrytown and we laughed and talked about things. I am truly sorry and hope you find peace in the weeks to come. With deepest sympathy.

In Tim we have lost a great colleague. One who didn't shy away from any discussion and who always had an open word to address the issue. "Solving the issue" and creating drive forward were his great passion.
He will be missed.
All our prayers and thoughts are with you - lots of strength to you in this time.

Tim was one of my favorite colleagues. We knew each other for many years and I had the real plesaure of working with Tim during the SAP Project. When I needed to vent or discuss ideas, Tim was the first one I turned to. A couple of years ago I had the chance to spend the weekend with Tim and some other colleagues. We had a great time! I'll miss him.

I had the privilege and honor to work with Tim on a sub committee for BIRI's strategic initiative and was able to get to know Tim as a person who had a real passion for doing things right. Tim was an inspiration to all he touch because even though he was very driven to make the organization better he always did things in a way he knew would make things better for the people of the organization. Tim trulu cared about everyone and demonstratated it everyday, the world has lost a great and caring man.
I send my deepest sympathies and prayers to the Howard family during this difficult time. My GOD bless you and keep you.

Tim was a fellow student at the Ohio State MBOE program. I just had to introduce myself to him when I saw the "Philmont" logo on his laptop. I had been to Philmont as a child because my dad was a Boy Scout leader and he took the entire family there when he went for training. Tim was a delightful person. He was a very warm, compassionate person. You and your entire family are in my prayers and thoughts.

To Tim's family,
I met Tim in August, 1999 when he hired me at BIRI. I reported to Tim on and off until April, 2005. I wanted to share a story about Tim as a leader. In the summer of 2001 my Dad was about to succumb to cancer after a long struggle. Our family decided to make Dad comfortable at home for his few remaining weeks. I told Tim about the news and he told me to take whatever time I needed to spend with my Dad. I will never forget his kindness and compassion during this difficult time. My Dad finally passed on 8/8/2001, but I was able to share many more moments with him before his passing.
With deepest sympathies on your loss,
Lee Miller

Our family shares in your deep sorrow at this time of great loss. We pray that God will hold you in the palm of His hand; console you with His love. Tim holds special remembrance in our hearts. I know him as my first friend upon joining Roxane and he helped me make sense of it all. Know that Kathy and I are near-by with our support and friendship always.

To Tim Howard's family
It is with sadness that I extend my thoughts and prayers to you. I worked for Tim Howard for three years 1997-2000 and he was a fair, understanding and patient manager and I know represents a huge loss of positive energy to the organization that he left.
Regards,

I had the opportunity to spend two days with Tim last week. While I have known him for 20 years, I was struck by how Tim had grown so much in his role and in the influence he had on the success of the business. I also had the chance to have dinner with him and to hear him speak so fondly of his family. He will be missed so much, in so many ways.

Mary, Elizabeth and Gregg,
We are all saddened by the passing of a great husband, father and friend and extend our deepest sympathies to you and your family.
Tim and I shared many happy moments over cups of Tim Horton's coffee. He spoke often with pride of his great family. We shared many tall tales of our Philmont High Adventure experience and the accomplishments of our children.
Be comforted in this difficult time in the promise of our Lord and Saviour.
...and the ransomed of the LORD will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. Isaiah 35:10

I met Tim only recently as a fellow student in the MBOE program at OSU. Tim was the kind of person that you can make an instant connection with. He was open, friendly, and helpful. We will all miss him. It was clear that he was great at what he did in his job, and I wish we had been able to get to know him better. I am so sorry for your great loss.

Mary, Elizabeth and Gregg,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. There wasn't a day that went by that Tim didn't tell a story or share how proud he was of each of you; his love and pride was in every word. Tim was a great inspiration to everyone; he was always positive and passionate about everything. Tim was always the first person to lend a helping hand. I will forever be grateful to have known Tim as a colleague, as a friend. Everything happens for a reason, though we may not know it now eventually everything will become clear. Find comfort that Tim will always be with each of you.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself … any man’s death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
