Timmy Eaton Obituary
Published by Legacy on Oct. 3, 2025.
Timmy was born on April 5, 1962, in Spokane, Washington, and on August 19, 2025, he entered the gates of Heaven to sit at the right side of his savior.
He is survived by his beloved son, Eric Eaton of Oklahoma City, his stepmother Claudia Eaton of McLoud, his brother Kenneth Eaton and wife Tina of McLoud, brother Jamie Eaton and wife Kim of Harrah, brother Derek Eaton and fiancé Christina of Jones, sister Racheal Eaton and partner Tony Jackson of Yukon, brother Paul Moon and partner Alicia Cotter of Oklahoma City, brother Kevin Moon and wife Heather of Oklahoma City, brother Troy Moon; sister Vickie Moon-Ames and husband Keith sister Kelly Martin of Lindsay, his sister-in-law Rita Moon of Oklahoma City, his brother-in-law Chad Chapman and wife Andrea of McLoud, and many extended family members too many to count, really, because Timmy's family tree has branches that spread far and wide with cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Eaton of McLoud, his mother, Barbara Shaw-Moon of Oklahoma City, his brother David Moon of Oklahoma City, and many other loved ones who, no doubt, were waiting to welcome him home.
Timmy was a devout follower of Christ. His love for Jesus began early, and his faith never wavered not in the good times, not in bad, and not in sickness. He graduated from Apostolic Faith School, carrying with him both knowledge and a deep love for God.
Now, if you knew Timmy, you knew he wasn't a man of few words. He loved to talk. And not just about one subject he could cover them all. Whether it was catching up with family, reminiscing, or just sharing whatever was on his mind, he could keep the conversation going. In fact, if you ever tried to leave one of those conversations too quickly, you probably failed.
Timmy had hobbies, too.he loved tinkering on cars with his dad when he was younger, and he had a fascination with technology. But if there's one hobby everyone remembers, it's this: Timmy loved to eat. Really loved it. He enjoyed going out to restaurants, and he had a knack for showing up to visit just in time for dinner. Some might call that coincidence, but I think we all know better. And truth be told, he didn't just come for the food, he came for the company.
Timmy worked faithfully at Regal Plastic for almost 30 years, where he made many close friendships. His coworkers will remember him as dedicated, dependable, and someone who could always brighten the day with his humor and conversation.
When we think about Timmy, we remember a man who was kind, full of faith, and loyal to his family and friends. But we also remember someone who could make us laugh sometimes intentionally, sometimes just by being Timmy.
And that's how he'd want us to remember him today: with love, with gratitude, and maybe even with a smile.
Timmy's story didn't end here. For those of us who share his faith, we know this is only the beginning of his eternity with Christ. And while we mourn his absence on this earth, we rejoice knowing that he is healed, whole, and at peace in the presence of his Savior.
So today, we say: thank you, Timmy. Thank you for the conversations, the laughter, the meals, the memories, and most of all, the example of a faith that never wavered. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Timmy Eaton, please visit our Tree Store.
