Timmy Lee Larrimore

Timmy Lee Larrimore, 66, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at his home in St. James City, FL, after a 6-year journey with Alzheimer's disease. Up until the end Timmy maintained his kindness, compassion and appreciation to all that came around him.

Timmy was born on July 27, 1959, in Brentwood, MD. He had a boat when he was 6 years old and had to go out to get his dad soft-shell crabs for lunch. He moved to Pine Island when he was 12 years old with his parents Kay & Webb Larrimore. Timmy loved fire from a very early age. His mother taught him what fire will do to you. Timmy became a volunteer Fire Fighter when he was 16. Jumping off the school bus and catching the brush truck to go fight a fire. After fire school, he went to work at South Trail Fire & Rescue in 1979, then came back to his community on Pine Island in 1988 to work. He remained at Pine Island Fire District until he retired in 2019. He loved working around so many people he knew and loved (and everyone loved him).

Timmy was married to Jo Marie in 1988, and they maintained a loving and supportive marriage for over 37 years. Together they raised two children, Christie and Billy on Pine Island.

A lot of people don't know that Timmy was adopted by Kay & Webb, who loved him unconditionally as their own. After being raised as an only child, Timmy found out when he was older that he actually had 12 siblings through his biological parents. He had met a few of them and got to meet his mom before she passed.

Timmy was definitely a "legend" to all that knew him. He made friends wherever he went. He loved helping people. Even as he was in the Dementia stage, he would help an elderly lady to her car. That was just Timmy. He helped everyone but wouldn't ask for assistance when he needed it.

Timmy was loved so much and will be missed by many. Just remember his smile!
