Tim Robinson age 67 of Havana passed away Monday, April 8, 2025.
Tim was born October 23, 1957 in Odessa, Texas to the late Harvey Neal "Dub" & Effie Joy Hegwood Robinson. He was a Navy Veteran.
Tim was someone who had a passion for connecting with others and genuinely saw past race, status, beliefs and just wanted to have fun with them. This usually involved cooking. He loved his family and often was there to support them in any number of ways when life had gone off track. He loved car shows, collecting Hot Wheels, Corvettes and especially, 1966 Ford trucks. Tim loved all of his kids and grandkids but lit up in a new way as a Pop-O when his "boo boos" Jasey Lynn, was born. They quickly became the best of friends and had fun with every one of their adventures together. He was and is loved. He has left a hole in or hearts and lives that will always be, but it was worth it to have known him.
During their almost 28 years of marriage, Tim and Marla made lots of good memories and loved to take trips together. After 25 years of marriage, Tim asked Marla to join him in renewing their vows in a private ceremony on Magazine Mountain.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Buffi Adelle Womack; parents-in-law, Bill and Margaret Steward of Havana.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years Marla Robinson; children, Travis Robinson and wife Jessica of Rogers; Brandi Sanderson and husband Chris of Booneville; Lindsey Shelton of Havana; grandchildren, Jasey Shelton and Shandi Lee of Havana; Garyn Sanderson and wife Charla of Booneville; Austin, Scott, Samantha, Laura and Ashley Hanson of Rogers; great-grandson, Malachi Moses Sanderson; siblings, Ted Robinson and wife Lee Ann of Abilene, TX.; Terry "Neho" Robinson of Whitehouse, TX.; special aunt and uncle, Johnny and Pat Robinson of Weatherford, TX; very best friend Raymond Davis.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Western Yell County Church of Christ with Bro. Hank Weaver, Bro. Seth Drewyry, Bro. Tom Sullinger and Bro. Thomas McCoy officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the church before the service. Burial will be at Moores Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Hobie Robinson, Kevin Robinson, Ryan Robinson, Brandon Robinson, Chris Sanderson and Garyn Sanderson.
Honorary pallbearers include the Class of 1976 and special friends, Raymond Davis, the Davis brothers, Mark Conyers, Ernie James, Ricky James and Danny Womack.
