Timmy Nguyen, age 18, a resident of Lowell, passed away suddenly at home on September 12, 2023. Born in Lowell on May 11, 2005, Timmy was a child of Anh Ngoc Thi Lé of Lowell.
Timmy enjoyed the simple, but finer things in life. He took pleasure in talking about philosophical aspects of the human experience, engaged in activities that stimulate him mentally, and analyzing human behavior and body language. It was no surprise to know that he loved exploring invigorating shows like Sherlock Holmes and Criminal Minds.
Timmy was extremely timid, but was a creative person who found multiple ways to express himself still. He read books, wrote stories and poems, created art with his hands, and got lost in the music. Timmy's passion for playing Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" on the keyboard, guitar, clarinet, violin, ukulele, and harmonica was a clear display for his talent in music. It was difficult to express his emotions, but creating art became his outlet. Timmy got a thrill out of dancing and recording funny videos too. It was what he found enjoyable or what he would call "happy," essentially having freedom.
Above all else, Timmy was witty, kind, compassionate, goofy, and full of light.
Timmy is also survived by three brothers, Michael Lé, John Lé and Peter Nguyen; a sister, Susan Lé and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Timmy's Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Thursday, Sept. 21, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, 282 Suffolk St, Lowell. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. Those wishing may make a donation in Timmy's name to Susan Lé.
