Albert "Bill" Lundgren

Albert "Bill" Lundgren, age 81, a resident of Tyngsborough and formerly of West Yarmouth, Chelmsford, and Tewksbury, passed away peacefully at his home on November 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Nancy (Holland) Lundgren, with whom he shared 56 wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Woburn on October 13, 1944, Bill was the son of the late Albert and Eunice (Metrano) Lundgren. He was educated in the Woburn school system and graduated from Woburn High School, Class of 1963.
A lifelong car enthusiast, Bill's passion began with classic cars and later centered on Corvettes. He loved attending cruise nights and car shows, proudly driving his Corvette and often bringing home trophies-including a recent first-place award in his division.
Before his retirement, Bill worked for many years as a meat cutter, beginning his career at Purity Supreme and later employed by Heartland, A&P, and Whole Foods.
In addition to his beloved wife Nancy, Bill is survived by his son David Lundgren; his daughter and son-in-law Debra and Keith Tassinari; and his five cherished grandchildren, Sarah Tassinari and her partner Ryan Murray, Julia Lewis and her husband Corey, Nicholas Tassinari, Victoria Lundgren, and Colette Lundgren. He also leaves behind his great-granddaughter Ayla Lewis; his brother and sister-in-law Timothy and Kathleen Lundgren; his sister and brother-in-law Linda and Charlie Collings; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his brothers Richard, Robert, Stephen, and Daniel Lundgren.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Tyngsborough Funeral Home, 4 Cassaway Drive, Tyngsborough, on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Following the visitation, family and friends will share memories and celebrate Bill's life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's memory to a charity of one's choice.
