Timothy Ray Baker, of Pierceton and formerly of Kennesaw, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Mason Health and Rehab in Warsaw at the age of 44. Born on December 13, 1981, he was the son of Melvin and Becky Baker (Wright). Tim spent his life in service to others, working as a dispatcher in Kennesaw for 22 years. After moving to Kosciusko County, he dedicated time to working for public safety at Parkview Randallia.

Tim was known for his vibrant personality and infectious laughter. He had an amazing sense of humor that brought joy to those around him, often accompanied by warm and wonderful hugs that made everyone feel special. An important memory in his life was the honor of throwing the first pitch at a Tin Caps game, where they were celebrating hometown heroes.

His passions extended beyond his professional life, as Tim was a lifelong collector, with a passion for Vintage GI Joes, baseball cards, comic books, and posters. He was also an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed singing, showcasing a wonderful voice that added depth to his many talents. His love for the paranormal and scary movies brought an adventurous flair to his hobbies.

Tim's love story with his fiancée, Christie Schmidt, was one for the ages, having proposed to her during a memorable cruise in Nassau. Along with Christie, his partner of 18 years, he is survived by his mother, Becky Baker; his brothers, Chris (Sherry) Wright and Michael (Connie) Baker; his half-brothers, Joe, Ronnie, and Scottie Baker; his half-sisters, Stacey Gillham and Mary Ann Baker; his uncle, Bill Snelson; and his longtime best friend, Annette Hall Wagnon. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Baker; his aunt, June Snelson; and his grandparents.

Titus Funeral Home of North Webster is entrusted with the care of Tim. His family is grieving privately; therefore, no public services will be held at this time. To leave a condolence or send flowers, please visit www.TitusFuneralHome.com
