Timothy Francis Barron (January 2, 1950-June 17, 2024).
It is with a heavy heart that his family announces the passing of Tim Barron, age 74, of Oakdale, MN.
He was born in St. Paul, MN to Robert and Virginia Barron, the third of their six children. Tim graduated Hill High School in 1968 before serving in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1972-1975. Tim loved to attend family gatherings, especially when there was an opportunity to share a cigar. He was quick with a hug and a smile.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, sister Judy, brother Barney. Tim left behind one son, Timothy J. (Ann) Barron, two granddaughters (Cheyenne and Merleah), along with brothers Dennis (Val) Barron and Terry (Karen) Barron, and sister Mary (Jim) Blom, as well as several nieces and nephews, all of whom he was very proud and spoke about often with love.
Graveside Service Wednesday September 25, 2024 at 11:00am at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
Celebration of Timothy's Life will be held Wednesday September 25 from 2:00-6:00pm at Sidewinder's, 2573 7th Ave E., North St. Paul, MN 55109
