It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy Keith Capan, who left this world peacefully on October 28, 2025, at the age of 67.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 31, 2025 at Evangel Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. A graveside service will immediately follow at Parkhill Cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Tim was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jana Gene Capan; his cherished grandson, Jensen Lee Brown; and his loving parents, Mary Nell Arnold and G.H. Capan.

He is survived by his devoted daughter, Alexa Nicole Brown (Aaron), and his treasured grandchildren Grayson, Korbyn, Jameson, and Addison, who brought immense joy and pride to his life. He is also survived by his sister, Alicia Capan Fisher; his brothers, J.J. Capan (Jodi) and Keith Arnold (Katrina); as well as several beloved nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Tim.

In the later part of his life, Tim shared his days with his beloved girlfriend, Kathy Summerville, who brought him happiness, laughter, and unwavering companionship.

Tim was the most outgoing, generous man you could ever meet. He never met a stranger and had a gift for making everyone around him feel like family. Known for his sense of humor, big heart, and unwavering kindness, he was deeply loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His friends were countless, and his impact on those he loved will be felt for a lifetime.
