Obituary
Timothy Franklin Cohran, age 63 of Buchanan, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023. He was born on November 28, 1959, in Dallas to the late Earnest T. Cohran and the late Betty Ann Morgan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one grandson, Logan Malakai Cohran.
Being an avid outdoorsman, Tim enjoyed fishing working in his yard, and cutting grass. He was also an expert "handy man, who could build most anything with his creative mind. He enjoyed old classic vintage cars and listening to music. Tim's passion was his family whom he loved dearly.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years Shelby Cohran; his daughter, Chasity Dawn Cohran; his son, Timothy Casey Cohran; his five sisters, Crystal Newman, Connie Everson, Juanita McInvale, Beverly (Jennie) Cohran and Betsy Couch; and one brother, David Cohran. Also surviving are his precious grandchildren: Breanna Patterson, Zoey Patterson, Zander Patterson, Kylie-Jade Piper Cohran, Jordan Wyatt Cohran and Waylon Gage Cohran and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Tim Cohran will be conducted on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 3:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Reverend Shane Wade officiating. Interment will follow in Piney Woods Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
