Timothy Russell “Tim” Cook, 65, of Levelland, Texas, passed away on January 27, 2026, in Levelland.

Born on March 31, 1960, in Houston, Texas, Tim was the son of Andrew Allen Cook and Lona Mae Bass Cook. He graduated from Mansfield High School. Tim worked with his brother David and his father Allen as co-owners of Truss King, Inc of Colorado City, Texas building and delivering trusses across Texas. Later he went on to build a successful career as the Senior Account Executive for Premier Media Group and Haden Signs of Texas. In this role, he designed and sold signage across the state, leaving his creative mark on communities throughout Texas.

Tim’s life was deeply rooted in faith and family. Church played a central role in his life; he was an active member of the Levelland Primitive Baptist Church where he served as deacon, led singing and offered help to fellow members in need. His devotion to his church community reflected his generous spirit and steadfast character.

On December 1, 2000, Tim married Becky in Lubbock, Texas. Their union was born from mutual understanding and shared experiences. Tim embraced Becky’s three daughters, Kristen, Micala, and Morgan as his own. He became their rock and a loving Christian father whose presence brought strength and stability to their lives. Together they were blessed with a son, Jimmie Lee. A new light came into their lives 4 years ago with the addition of a little granddaughter, Zayleigh Mae.

Tim had a passion for music that brought joy to those around him. He loved playing the guitar and often spent time jamming with friends, especially enjoying bluegrass sessions that filled the room with warmth and harmony.

Tim is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Becky) Dennese Price Cook; children, Kristen Elizabeth Epperson and boyfriend Gustavo Diaz of Tulia, Texas, Micala Grace Epperson of Lubbock, Texas, Morgan Nicole Epperson Moore and husband Andy along with granddaughter, Zayleigh Mae of Abilene, Texas, and Jimmie Lee Cook of Levelland, Texas; his brother, David and wife Gail Townsend of San Antonio, Texas; his sister, Gayla Gonzalez and husband Tim of Littlefield, Texas; sisters in love, Frances Coats and Glenda Gibson and husband David; brothers in love, Ricky Price and wife Deborah and Dennis Price and wife, Monica; a host of nieces and nephews and family who meant the world to him, along with many others who were touched by his kindness and steady presence. Tim was preceded in death by his beloved son, Jared Russell Cook; brothers, Danny Cook, Randy Cook, Andy Cook, and Steve Cook; brothers in love, Randy Price and Kenny Coats, as well as his parents Andrew Allen Cook and Lona Mae Bass Cook.

Tim’s legacy is one of faith, love for family, music shared among friends, and a life lived with quiet strength. He wanted to be remembered for being a God fearing, tender hearted, kind and loving husband and Dad. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
