Timothy G. Darnauer, aged 84, of Green Bay, entered into eternal rest on January 15, 2025. Born on September 25, 1940, in Lincoln, Nebraska, Timothy was the cherished son of Emil and Esther Darnauer.
A proud graduate of Midland Lutheran College, Timothy also studied at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. His college years were marked by memorable experiences, including traveling through Europe with the Midland Choir and playing football as a Nebraska Cornhusker-a testament to his adventurous spirit and love for community.
Timothy's professional journey was one of dedication and purpose. He began with the Omaha Public Schools, later becoming an executive at Travel and Transport, where he oversaw the travel agent education program. His passion for nurturing others led him to roles as Dean of Students at colleges in Dallas, Denver, and Green Bay, where he made a lasting impact on countless lives.
A man of deep faith and kindness, Timothy was a devoted husband, father, and mentor. His Christian values shone through in everything he did, whether through formal teaching or the gentle lessons he imparted through his actions. Timothy's love for sports was infectious, always cheering for the home team, and he took great pride in his black Mercedes sedan and Alfa Romeo Spider, reflecting his appreciation for life's finer joys.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished by his devoted daughter, Dana Darnauer; his niece, JoEllen (Steve) Coleman; and a host of extended family and friends. Timothy is now reunited with his beloved wife, Jeannine (Heckman) Darnauer; his dear son, Sean Darnauer; his sister, Joleen George; brother-in-law, Leslie George; and his parents, Emil and Esther.
A celebration of Timothy's remarkable life will be held on February 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home Howard-Suamico, 1145 Cardinal Lane, followed by a time of sharing. His warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.

Prayers and sympathy on the loss of your father Dana. Tim was a wonderful man. My brother Vern Johnson were good friends in college and after. Many of wonderful memories with Tim & Jeannine as I was her roommate in Lincoln.
