Timothy Davenport born March 14, 1953 to Eloise Jones and adopted early in life by Margaret Murray. He is now preceded in death by both parents. Tim graduated from the University of Mass with a degree in Economics and Urban Planning and he later worked for the Environmental Protective Agency. The last 25 years of his life he was employed with the City of Boston as an IT Systems Analyst.
Tim entered God's Kingdom Dec 29, 2023 and was a great family person of true integrity whose impact will be forever felt by those who love him dearly. He focused in providing his children with the best life possible. His ability to support, sacrifice, forgive and love will always be engraved. His passing has left an unfillable gap in the hearts of those who knew him.
Tim is survived by his loving family; Denise and their children, Andre and Aiyana Carter, half sisters and brothers; Tanya Holmes, Brenda Sanford, Gretchen Jones, Ivan Jones, Kristopher Jones. Also survived by his many nephews and nieces.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside funeral ceremony on Thursday January 18, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Newton Cemetery, 791 Walnut St., Newton. Please meet at the front gate of the cemetery by 11:45 am and we will proceed to the grave together. Please visit devitofuneralhome.com to view an online guestbook.

My first memory of Tim, was when I first started working for the city and he got me all set up on my computer. He was so kind and caring and he made me feel so welcome. Thank you for that Tim!
