Tim Denny died peacefully on March 28, 2025, at age 52.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Robert Denny, and his mother, Mary Alice Kuchinski Goulding; he is survived by his beloved children, Malissa Denny and Mitchell Denny, and Mitchell’s wife Stephanie and their mother Kim Denny; his grandchildren, each whom he loved dearly, Rowynn Denny, Dallas Breaux, Rhett Denny and Krew Breaux; his siblings Mike Denny (wife Denise), Kevin Denny (wife Teri Jo), Brandon Denny and Rebecca Muniz; many nieces and nephews; his partner in life, love and adventure, Teresa Rose; and his dog, Charley.

Tim was born in Long Beach, California, and moved to Oklahoma City with his family at age 14. That same year, he began one of his lifelong passions – bowling. As with most things Tim did, he excelled and competed nationally. More importantly, the sport provided many of his closest friends. His other passions were golf – including many trips with more of his closest friends -- and horseracing. He served on the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission.

At age 20, Tim went to work at Chesapeake Energy in the mail room. As the company grew rapidly, his intelligence, drive and passion allowed him to thrive. He rose to the rank of vice president while earning the immense respect of his peers and his mentor, Aubrey McClendon.

Chesapeake was one of Oklahoma City’s premier employers, and Tim exemplified the company’s culture of hard and joyful work, paired with treating people with respect and kindness. The work set him up for other steps in his career, including serving as chief administrative officer at Bob Moore Auto Group. After his time in the corporate world, Tim expressed his passion for entrepreneurism, including founding Onward Fleet Solutions, Onward Connections and owning the Holiday Bowling Center.

In just a few years, Onward Fleet Solutions expanded nationwide, integrating the latest technology with deep understanding of his clients’ needs to provide success for his company and his clients. In all things, Tim was committed to helping others reach their full potential.

He was also dedicated to improving the community, including serving on the board of directors of Special Care Inc. and as the past chairman of the board of Make-A-Wish Oklahoma.

Along with his many career accomplishments, Tim will be remembered for his easy smile, his boundless energy and his never-ending kindness. The joy and pride he took in helping others relax and enjoy themselves shined in any setting. Interested and interesting, in any group he could be found talking and laughing, sharing a drink or food and bringing joy to those around him.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 1, at 3:30 p.m. at Special Care Oklahoma, 12201 N. Western Ave. in Oklahoma City.
