Timothy J. DeRito

Timothy J. DeRito, of Pembroke, passed away on June 30, 2022. He was 52.
Tim worked in Real Estate for over 25 years with ReMax Landmark and EXP Realty. Tim was fiercely devoted to his family and looked forward to any events that celebrated family, especially Christmas. He was known for his extensive Christmas displays. Tim was exceptionally proud of his patriotism and decorated the yard to reflect this. He enjoyed music and took great pride in supporting his youngest child's band and their musical aspirations. Tim spent as much time as possible at home with his dogs and his family. Tim will be remembered for his kind and generous way, positive attitude, and his obsession with all things Batman. Tim had the unique ability to bring out the best in everyone and everything. There wasn't a problem he couldn't help you solve. When he was in the room, he radiated happiness and his laughter was contagious. He will be deeply missed.
Beloved husband of 32 years to Maureen (O'Leary) DeRito of Pembroke. Devoted father of Christina DeRito Thomas and her husband Mat of VA and Al DeRito of Pembroke. Son of the late James and Myrna DeRito. Loving brother of Nancy Boss and her partner Rick French of Hanson. Son-in-law of Eileen and the late Jack O'Leary. Also survived by his dogs Nikki and Skye. Tim looked forward to the upcoming birth of his first grandchild.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visiting Hours on Thursday 4-7 PM at Chapman Funerals and Cremation, 98 Bedford Street, Bridgewater.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM at Chapel of Mary at Stonehill College, 320 Washington Street, Easton MA 02357.
