Timothy L. DeVoe, 66 passed away February 24th, 2023, at home surrounded by his family including his grandson at his bedside. He was born on October 27, 1956 to the late David W. and Eunice DeVoe in Fort Wayne, IN. On May 1, 1982, Tim was united in marriage to Carol Barker in Glen Ellyn, IL. He was a member of Antigo United Methodist Church and served in various capacities. He retired, along with Carol, in May of 2022 from State Farm Insurance after 29 years and 23 of those years as an agent. He was passionate about his job and serving his clients. He loved talking with everyone.
He was an avid outdoorsman. He found joy and peace in the outdoors. It was important to pass that love to his children and grandson.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol; son T.J. and wife Meagan of Stevens Point, WI; and daughter Katelyn and husband Ryne Levis and one grandson Dietrich Levis of Antigo, WI and two gran-dogs Allie and Murphy; one sister Jennifer husband Dave Gibson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He was proceeded in death by a brother David A. DeVoe.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at noon at Antigo United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held at the church Thursday, from 10:00 am until the service. Pastor Debbie Pimm will officiate.
We would like to thank both care teams at LeRoyer Hospice and Aspirus Cancer and Pain centers. We are very grateful for the loving care he received.
He will be greatly missed by many, but we rejoice in knowing he is now at peace in his eternal home.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Volm Cancer Center or Langlade County Humane Society.
