Robert “Bob” Charles Kemmer, 57, of Antigo, WI, passed away on July 24th, 2025, in his hometown. Born September 20th, 1968, to Charlene and Richard Kemmer, Bob lived a life rooted in Antigo. He graduated from Antigo High School and spent his years working hard, raising his family, and doing things his own way. Bob owned Kemmer Electronics (formerly Stern Electronics) and worked as a service manager at Raasch’s American Car Care Center and Sliwicki Tire & Auto. He valued the relationships he built through his work and took pride in serving the local community. Bob had a goofy sense of humor, would go out of his way to talk to anyone, and was happiest outdoors—whether fishing, riding his ATV, camping, or gathered around a bonfire with family and friends. He enjoyed playing pool with his kids, watching movies, and classic cars.
He was funny, outgoing, and generous with his time, even if he wasn’t always perfect. Those close to him knew he cared deeply in his own way. He believed in working hard, showing up when it counted, and doing what needed to be done. He is survived by his wife Wendy; children Joshua, Michael, and Kinsey; parents Charlene and Richard; sisters Nicole Kemmer and Rhonda Winters; and many others who knew his heart and humor. Bob will be remembered not as a flawless man, but as a real one—someone who left an impression and gave people something to laugh about.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 6 at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home.
