Saugus, MA - Timothy J. "T.J." Dixon, age 47, 0f Saugus, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Melrose Wakefield Hospital. Born in Melrose, in 1978, he was the son of John W. Dixon and the late Marie K. (O'Brien) Dixon. He was raised and educated in Saugus and graduated from Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational High School in 1996. T.J. worked as an electrician for Picardi Electric in Saugus for many years. Growing up, he played baseball for Saugus National Little League and won the District 16 Championship. He loved fishing and hiking with his brother Ryan and was a talented artist and enjoyed wood crafting. Family was very important to TJ. He was very close to his father and three brothers. He enjoyed playing outside with his nieces and nephew, but his most special moments were spent with his daughter Arianna, the pride and joy of his life.
In addition to his father John and his partner Kathleen Saccone of Saugus, T.J. is survived by his loving daughter Arianna Dixon and her mother Nadia Shah; his brothers, Sean Dixon and his wife Tara of Saugus, Ryan Dixon and his wife Jen of Saugus and Kevin Essery and his wife Eleanor of Boynton Beach, FL; his nieces Caitlyn and Avery and his nephew R.J. and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was the grandson of the late John and Mary Dixon and the late John and Marie O'Brien.
Service Information: A Funeral will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 9a.m. from the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt. 129), Lynn followed by a Funeral Mass in Blessed Sacrament Church, Saugus at 10a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
