Timothy George Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 20, 2025.
Timothy L George 1934-2025

Timothy George of Millersville, MD passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on

September 18, 2025, at the age of 91

.

He was born in Alexandria, VA to William and Raphael George on January 14, 1934.

Tim is survived by his wife of 62 years, Shirley George, his two sons, Timothy "Neil"

George and Randall "Randy" Charles George, two stepchildren Vicki and Pennie, his

three children from his first marriage, and his sister Patsy Rollins. Tim had 15

grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews he dearly

cherished.

Tim retired from the Baltimore Gas and Electric company. Then, he happily took on the

role of the family babysitter and was excellent at the job. "Pop-Pop" loved all his

grandchildren and great grandchildren very much and treasured his time with them. Tire

swings, chalk drawings on the driveway, riding bikes, and awesome summer pool days,

were among the things he loved to do with the kids

.

Tim was an avid golfer. He enjoyed lawn work and working around the home on various

projects. He looked forward to the annual family vacation in North Myrtle beach and

spending time with the family. Tim was also a football fan and loved watching his home

team games.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 1pm – 4pm at

Venice on the Bay community hall. Family and friends are invited to gather, share

stories and honor Tim's memory.
