Tim E. Gildon, age 62, of Queen City, Texas, formerly of downtown Bloomburg, Texas, went to be with his Lord and Savior, December 12, 2024 at his residence. He was born July 23, 1962 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Warren and Mattie Lea Gildon. Tim was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and Past Master of Bloomburg Masonic Lodge # 1007. He was larger than life and could be rough around the edges. He was a big man with a big heart and although his circle was small, he was fiercely loyal to his people. Tim was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed just about every mile of it. He could tell stories of Montana mornings and Colorado evenings so vividly that you could see it in your mind. He was very opinionated and if you didn't see things his way, he didn't mind that you were wrong. He enjoyed warm camp fires, loyal dogs and being on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. He once left for an evening ride around Cass County and called 3 days later in Spokane, Washington. He lived life his own way and sometimes that put him in difficult circumstances, but he owned every bit of it. Tim loved the Lord and is in heaven today, no doubt.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda; brother, Bill; and his parents.
Tim is survived by his daughter, Meghan Baker; brother, Lee Gildon; one grandson; and his small circle of friends and loved ones.
Tim's final wishes were very specific and we're going to do our best to honor them.
One last thing from Tim. If you put beans in chili, it's not chili anymore. It's bean soup.

I met Tim, in August of 2015. We were riding, in the same group, of motorcycles. We hit it off and have been friends since. He was a great friend. We didn´t get, to see each other much but we stayed in touch. Rest in peace, my friend, till we meet again.
