Timothy R. Hall

Timothy “Tim” Robert Hall, 61, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 23, 2025, surrounded by his family at his residence in Churchville.

Tim was born on February 23, 1964, in Dayton, Ohio to Rita Kay Badgley Wherry and the late Robert Benjamin Hall.

Tim retired after thirteen years from Hershey Chocolate in Stuarts Draft.

He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Fort Hood, Texas as a telecommunication operator. In addition to his normal duties, he was a unit armorer and a commander’s driver.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father, pawpaw, uncle, and brother. Tim didn’t know a stranger. His grand babies were his pride and joy.

He also enjoyed hunting and attending church at Destiny Family Center in Stuarts Draft.

In addition to his mother, Tim is survived by his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Cheryl Lynn Crummett Hall; his children, Amber Lantz and her husband, Ryan, Justin Hall and his wife, Kaitlyn, Trevor Hall and his wife, Jessica, Cory Hall and his wife, Cassie; his grandchildren, Royce, Jensen, Wyatt, Leighton, Josie, Cohen, Cade and Oliver; his two four-legged babies, Annie and Sadie; and many other family members. 

The family would like to especially thank Sentara Hospice, Dr. Fu, and the doctors, nurses, and staff of RMH Cancer Center for all their care, compassion, and kindness during this time. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton.

Interment will be private at Headwaters Cemetery in Highland County.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kurt Tolbert, Ronny Sease, Tim Bricker, Joey Judy, Patrick Feaganes, Mark Crummett, Trevor Hall, and Cory Hall.

It is suggested that those desiring may make memorial contributions to Sentara Hospice (c/o Sentara Foundation, 1300 Sentara Park - 1st Floor, Virginia Beach, VA 23464).
