In his 67th year of life, Timothy John Husemann passed away on July 2, 2025 with his wife and children at his side. He will be remembered as devoted husband, beloved dad, and proud Papa to his grandchildren.
In life, he never let his hard times define him. There was always a joke to be had and a laugh to be shared. He found joy on a hiking trail, pickleball court, and sipping tea with Carol in the porch.
Throughout his life, he coached his kids not only in sports, but what true acts of service look like. No house renovation or project too big, he would roll up his sleeves and get to work. Tim showed up for people. He didn't do things halfway-he lived with intention, kindness, and joy. He was a goofball through and through, and found happiness in it all.
We'll celebrate Tim's life the way he lived it - with joy, laughter, and of color. Come as you are, and if it feels right, know that green and blue were his favorite. Join us on Thursday, July 10 from 1pm to 3pm
Glacial Valley Park
9900 Ravine Parkway
Cottage Grove, MN. We will share stories, laughter, and memories. A brief memorial will begin at 1:30.
Please join us in playing Tim's favorite sport, pickleball. We will gather at the courts behind the building for open play from 3-4 PM. We'll have a few paddles to share, or bring your gear to play in his honor.
Instead of flowers. Tim would hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone, and also learn to zipper merge.
To ensure the comfort of all guests, it is kindly requested that you refrain from wearing perfumes or colognes.
