Mr. Timothy Ward Jackson, 41, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024. He was the son of Patricia McGirt Moore and the late Troy Lenard Jackson. Timothy was an avid outdoorsman. He had a passion for the outdoors and found joy spending time fishing and hunting. Racing cars was another passion of his, often seen at the dragstrip on weekends pursuing this hobby he loved. As a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan, Timothy never missed a game, often seen sporting his favorite Cowboys ballcap. Exploring new places was another one of Timothy's joys, frequently embarking on road trips to Georgia and Florida. The heart of his happiness resided in spending precious moments with his family, cherishing every opportunity to be together. Timothy leaves behind a legacy as a deeply loved and respected individual who had a lasting impact on those around him.
Timothy was predeceased by his father, Troy Lenard Jackson and his grandmother, Margaret Judy McGirt.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother and step-father, Patricia and Chris Moore of Cheraw, SC; his step-daughter, Hayden Victoria Braswell; step-sister, Francis Allen Edwards of Wallace, SC; grandparents, Benny and Bennie Moore of Cheraw, SC; aunts, Joyce Hickey (Johnny) of Cheraw, SC, and Samantha Bray (Devin) of Cheraw, SC; uncles, Robert McGirt of Cheraw, SC, and Allen Walker (Christy) of Cheraw, SC; nieces, Melanie Perkins of Florence, SC and Jennifer Roscoe of Florence, SC; nephews, Blake McGirt of Cheraw, SC and Payton Harley of Cheraw, SC; great-nephews, Jeffery Chavis, Nathan Chavis, Wyatt Chavis, and Gabe Chavis; and his lifelong best-friend, Chase Bryant.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM, Sunday, February 25, 2024, in the Chapel of Kiser Funeral Home. The family will receive family and friends from 2:00PM until 3:00PM, prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Salem Baptist Church in Bennettsville, SC.
Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the Jackson family.
